## How to read these records

### The record

Farms, ranches and timber operations in Texas hold an ag/timber registration number from the Comptroller to buy qualifying items tax-free. The Comptroller publishes the registrations.

### Status

Active registration. Most registrations belong to individual farmers and ranchers: they are left out.

### What is not here

Individuals, and any name without a company word (Inc, LLC, Corp, Co…). Owner and contact names, phone numbers
and mailing addresses, which this site never downloads.
